Unless you are going for thinnest lamination possible, the lowest priced poly laminating resin will work fine. Use laminating resin if you are gluing over it. No sanding needed. I live in Florida and been buying from Fiberglass Florida in Rockledge. They have everyhing but mat for epoxy. Their wax additive is called Mod C (as in modifier c). Everybody has their own ways of doing this stuff and most work as advertised, so don't get hung up on one being the only way. One of the best things to remember: bulk is your friend for waterproofing.
