I have purchased a Pontoon WaterGlide. It does not perform to my satisfaction and I recommend one to look elsewhere for perfromance. I looked at this forum and others before purchasing and I want to share things that I just did not anticipate. 1. The pontoon ride will be gone and a rougher one will be the result. 2. NOT an exacting science and much time and money will be required to realize any benefit, if any. 3. You will need to get the engine lower into the water as the glide will lift the boat. Jack plates are not the answer as they begin with a 2" lift built in and move the motor aft at least 5". Controls to the motor would possibly need attention. 4. Pitches of propellers are crucial and critical attention to engine proper operating RPM resulting or efficiency is gone. 5. Mating fiberglass to an aluminum frame is not a good match. Lots of vibration from hydro effect on glide. 6. Your trailer will need some modifications. Comment. Pontoons not designed for this performance. Look at deck boats or a Tritoon before wasting money and time.
