LMAO. Sorry to laugh at the expense of your pain guys. My son prefers the Pillsbury Toaster Struedel and has yet to burn himself, yet yesterday, I grabbed on out of the toaster in a hurry to get it on his plate and it was defintely warm on the figures. I am sure glad I stayed away from the the inside goo.

So funny!
And there is an award for these guys. www.darwinawards.com

And im just curious, but have you ever thought about eating them cold? I used to do that for years, with no adverse effects. Y'all should try it sometime.

Nathan, How's your fingers? Mine are ugly looking. Just got the bandages off today. Just now able to type, little painful and tender. I should be able to fish this coming weekend. I still have to use the bandages, but not the big wads that was on my hands.

Watching my buds reeling them in was a bit painful too! but it sure was entertaining :D

Hope your doing fine.....>SS

Re: Poptarts are dangerous!!!

Funny thing, I had them in the bandage that the doctor put it in with this gooey stuff, kinda like Neosporin, and finally took it off yesturday. You could not even tell that I had been burned. The dead skin from the blisters are even gone, it looks like nothing happened. I guess I heal fast, or that was some bad a$$ cream that the doctor used.

I hope you get better soon SS. I think frost bite is worse than a heat burn.

SBN, don't know about South Africa, didn't do much grocery shopping there, but sometimes they can be found in Ghana - imagine that! And, if the store doesn't know what they got, you can get 'em for about $0.80 a box (and sometimes they are fresh)! Then again, there are other times they are stale, and will cost about $3.50 - $5.00 a box! Don't ask, I don't know why!

Oh, and they have PH here also!

Re: Poptarts are dangerous!!!

Rogue, don't remember seeing anything like cornbread during my stay in South Africa (we have it in a couple of the ex-patriate shops here in Ghana, but it is all imported pe-mixed stuff). As SBN said, you don't know what you are missing! Would send you some, but it has to be made from scratch and it has to be fresh - warm out of the oven!

Man, my stomach is growling ever since I read your last post SBN - only 2 weeks of salavating till I am home and enjoying!

Yeah Rogue, we get cornbread here, called mealiebread. SBN and Bart, why is it so suprising that different cultures in different parts of the world have different tastes in food? When my brother who lives in Denver Co, visits me, he always leaves here with a crate of foodstuff that's unobtainable over there.

Bet you guys can't tell me what Marmite, biltong, pap, potjiekos, Mrs Balls are?
