The Hustler arrived today and definitely fixed the rpm issue. I got the old girl up to 34-mph....was hoping for more but I'll take it. Thanks again for all the help.

Thank your for the feedback. Lots of folks want help, we SWAG an answer and have no earthly idea as to whether or not it fixed the problem. Helps build our confidence in helping others.

Had another thought since you indicated that you were human....aka: "I got the old girl up to 34-mph....was hoping for more but I'll take it."

Put that tilt pin back out at least 1 notch and see what happens. Doing that will lift the bow and make for less wetted area. That prop is a bow lifting prop besides. Getting her nose up will reduce drag and allow your rpms to increase which will increase your mph. Could pick up a couple mph or so. If it porpoises put it back, but you may have the speed now and surely have the prop to get you the performance that might overcome it. So, it seems my guess was right on the money as was the BAM prop slip calculator.
