looking for solutions for my small boat... i have a 14' open fiberglass skiff with a 10hp motor.. i have tried the battery powered nav lights and they are crap.. they don't really work right. i want to have nav lights on this boat so i can fish at night but i don't want to permanently install them as i have no electrical system or charging system. i do have a deep cycle battery that powers my fish finder and trolling motor, i want something that clamps on like the portable lights do but can run off the 12v battery via alligator clips and will stow away when i'm not using them. any suggestions?

thanks

matt

Why wouldn't you want to permanately mount them?Just curious.you could install the light and put a switch by the battery. Not to hard to install and not very expensive.

Delta Breeze

Re: portable nav lights?

Take your portable battery light, fix a nav light on it and run wires with alligator clips to the battery.Charlie
