Possible Damage?

Well, I may have done something very stupid. Today I decided to clean and lubricate the cables, linkage, steering and tilt points. Without thinking, I moved the throttle control through the foward and reverse positions and to WOT. The stupid part is the shifting was done without the OB running, was repeated a few times and the prop was not manually turned either.

How great is the possibility that I caused damage, and how can I checked that I did or did not damage something? This is a 150. :(

Well if you didn't force it and feel any linkage binding ,the gears sometimes will be positioned to allow shifting.Start it up on the muffs and shift to forward and reverse a few times and see if it engages and disengages.Just don't rev it past 2500 rpm without load.Tell us what you find out.
