BTW I noticed that I was just 1 post from 900 so I had to post agian. Of course if Steve had not wiped about 80 of mine out I would be about due for a promotion.

I agree "Steve" didn't help matters. I too was doing alot of posting during that period.<br /><br />Do you lose some of your posts if the topic was "Poofed"?<br /><br />IMHO when posts are made with a text message, it gives readers a chance to know your personallity.<br /><br />Don't intend to start a war or anything over something of this nature. I'm just being honest on my thoughts......SS

I actually asked not to be promoted...<br />offered to have several posts deleted to keep<br />me under 2K.<br />in hindsight, the bulk of my posts were in NTDWB<br />and not focused on the theme of this site...<br /> helpin others like I was helped when needed.<br />besides, titles r lame. <br />M.Y.

SSM i think you brought up a good point<br /><br />i too, worry about the clout given to some here. we have to concern ourselves with some here... i guess it'll never be fair though.<br /><br />i was just a peon when i got straightened out by guys like you, JB, DJ & fellows from australia & new zealand. and i was in the midst of 00boaty & derwood. the times that change... {sniff, sniff} its almost like losin adopted chillen

<br />but now we have more & more strange chillen to take their place lets keep up the good fight. we can only hope for the best <br /><br />if i got demoted to first mate tomorrow, i'd not care one bit. i would like to have my # of posts known though, and if we get points per 'type' of post, i'd be happy with that too.
