I took this picture shortly after doing a semi-restoration on this older Johnson V4 last year. Though I did initially have some gear lube leaks the fluid on my garage floor in the picture is indeed water.

It's a Jonnyrude, it'll be gear oil. <br /><br />Nice restore job, looks like about a '76 model. Is it?<br /><br />Chris...........

'76 it is, though I altered the paint scheme a little (no more puke green).
