Hey to all: I'm a Force user but they all suggested I post here because apparently the engine uses Merc ignition parts.<br /><br />I have a Force 85 hp 1986 that has compression and spark, runs fine at low r's, but won't get up to speed. The power band just fell off the cliff one day while pulling a skiier. The prop isn't spun, has power at the low end, but seems like it's starved for gas when I get on it.<br /><br />The fuel pump diaphram is okay. Pics of the spark plugs are at http://jrem.webhop.org/2686.jpg <br /><br />I'm thinking it's a plugged carb, although I did the seafoam deal trying to clean it out, to no avail. <br /><br />Someone stated that there might be a problem with ignition coils at higher rpms, so I'm asking here if someone can please help.<br /><br />Thanks, John.
