power loss at full throttle

1971 johnson 55 hp<br /><br /> boat idles and runs fine at half throttle, when pushed to full or near full throttle it loses power and eventually craps out. it will restart like nothing wrong happened. I'm guessing the fuel pump, any ideas are definately apprciated.

check all of your fuel lines and make sure they are tight.

OK, I changed all the fuel hoses, engine is not getting hot, changed lower unit oil to type "C", I'm still not getting any RPM's. Al suggestions are welcome.
