I have a small leak on my power steering cooler on my 88 OMC 350 Cobra. I have read the many threads on auto versus marine parts and understand the spark/fuel issues. With that said, is there any reason that an automotive type power steering cooler could not be used to replace the existing cooler. I know it would be air cooling only vs the water cooling but I have room for something with more surface area. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I hate to spend over $200 to replace it with the stock part but will if that's the only alternative. Thanks.
