What power steering fluid should be used for a 2004 Volvo 5.0L Gl-E? Is there a Volvo specific fluid, or can I find something at Walmart or Autozone that is compatible?
Yes there is a specific volvo penta power steering and trim/tilt fluid....but should you not be able to find it in time then you are welcome to use either dexron, dexron 2 or 3 transmission fluid. Also you'll find power steering fluids on the shelves in the auto section that will work just as well with no ill effects.
