Hey Guys,
I'm working on this Merc 185 Serial # 6330183. When I got it the power steering hoses were disconnected and to me the manual is unclear as to how they reattach. From the pump cooler underneath the motor on the port side I see that the low pressure hose runs from the fitting on the stern side of the cooler back to the power steering controller on the steering arm. Then I have a 1/2" hose running from the bow side fitting on the cooler up to the power steering pump, but I don't see where the high pressure reattaches to. The way it routes up over the top of the intake manifold it looks as though it attaches right to this pump which would make sense but for the life of me I can't see where. I'm sure it's literally right under my nose, its been hard enough to find that I actually had to give up and come ask for help.
