Power Steering Question

I have just re installed my mercruiser and have just re connected the power steering lines. Do I need to bleed it some how or will topping up the reservoir on the pump after running it do the job ?

top it off and run it

while running turn the wheel back and forth a few times and re-check level, add fluid as needed
