All depends on what valve body you talking about.

theres like 4 different ones, can you supply a year , a pic, or description of the unit.
In the Adults Only section are manuals for downloading for your particular application.
MC1 type, early R,MR cannistor type, late Alpha cannistor, later Alpha, plastic res. tank.

It's a MC-1 on a 1970 starcraft V-180 I/O with a 140 mercruiser under the "hood"

That should have the metering body under the square cannistor. Has 1 flex line and 1 plastic line. There is also a reverse lockout valve in the system usually mounted on the transom.
Dont know of any rebuiding kits. Might have a old one kicking around. Will pm of i locate it.

Re: Power tilt/trim now

Ok on the PM. Is this a common problem with these or is it just mine. I just bought the boat yesterday at an estate auction, got it for a STEAL at $125. I have spent $18 on it today to get the engine running. This boat has set for at least 10 yrs in a building. Make a dashpanel for the guages and do the interior ( seats and carpet) and also this problem with power t/t then ready for boating. Can I pull it apart and clean the crap out of it?

whay you can try is get it on a bench, drain whats in there, remove the 6 or 8 bolts on the bottom and look inside . everything comes out attached to the bottom plate.Like I said, Adults Only section for the manual.Could try , held on with 4 bolts and some O rings seals

I got volumes 1 and 2 with the boat, plus the operaters manual. Along with most of the original paperwork. Will look in manuals; I wanted to make sure it can be done before I looked at the manual to see how.
