Power tilt & trim

1995 Yamaha 75 HP, tilt will only raise motor small amount. Works fine going to the down position. Fluid level is fine, even removed all old fluid and replace with new. Motor and pump sound fine. Any suggestions. Thanks.

You must put more oil in it.

Hi, also check your side vent scew on the left side of motor mount. turn it clockwize to tighten,sometimes this could hamper the lift or working conditions. & yes top off the fluids by trimming all the way up take off cap and if no fluids flow out add more until this happens, trim up & down 12 times and see if this helps. <br /> Hope this help, DaveS.
