Power Tilt

I have a 1994 40 hp 2 cycle Yamaha OB with power tilt. I have only had the boat for a couple of days, so I'm just getting used to it. This is my first boat so I have some basic questions. Does the power tilt work when you're WOT or nearly WOT? It seems to work fine a slow speeds and when at rest. Frank

It is tilt only and will not trim out under much power.

you have two choices if you need a different trim setting. you can move the pin on the motor bracket to a different hole position for free. or you can purchase a used tilt/trim unit off of a dead motor.

the electronics are different you will need to get the solenoids if you swap.
