Got a 90 hp. Mercury outboard.. Been sitting for 3-4 months. Motor runs good.. The power trim just stopped working. I haven't touched anything ,having to do with it over the winter.I try not to fiddle with stuff anymore, and leave it be. When I energize the switch the relays just click.. Battery is good. There seems to be 3 relays on the side of the motor that click when I activate the switch.. Do I need to replace all 3 relays? I'm I getting warm on what the problem is here ? thx.

UPDATE......seems after I tapped the trim pump and sprayed it with wd-40... the trim will now go down w/switch and up when I arc the other relay. So I have a bad middle relay ? I'm assuming ?

You can swap the two relays around and try it.
Trim should then go down, but not up.
Then you will know for sure.

A spare relay is a good part to have in your toolbox at the lake.
