power trim question ?

Hi, i'm looking for manuel trim i can put on my johnson85hp 1969 i see that on electric engine and i dont know if is exist for my engine looks like braket with hole you put your engine at the position you want!<br /><br />thanks!!<br />and another think when i test my engine in bac of water no water exit the pee hole but water go to the engine i see when i remove the black hose nobody ave sugestion?

Your engine should have a tilt pin in the transom bracket. This allows you to vary the tilt for best operation. Look at the transom barackets and you should see a series of holes for the tilt pin. Hope this is what your refering to.<br /><br />Your year engine, 1969, didn't have a "pee hole" unless someone installed one. If you do have one, and it don't "pee", run a wire up the tube. May be plugged up.

thank obj ok so were the water supose to exit???? and i know for the bracket thats not qhat im lookink for thats very tof to change the position every time im lloking for something when you tilt your engine thay stay in hole with spring pin

Look right under the lower engine pan and you will see the exhuast releif holes. Some water, a mist really, will come out there while running. Most of the water that goes through the engine will exit through the lower unit exhaust outlet.<br /><br />I'm still not real sure about the tilt unit your looking for. Not to much is available for that old and engine. An aftermarket tilt unit may work. Take a look at iboats store....may be one in there.
