Power trim/tilt system

I was at a friends place looking at mercruiser stuff and found a boat with a merc outboard with a missing power head. By the looks of the lower unit, its a large gear case, tower of power or big 4? I don't know for sure. Anyway, it had the old style of power trim using the two cylinders on each side where the shocks are on my 500. I'm pretty sure the trim would fit my `75 500, but I'm not sure. Will that trim fit my 500?

I had the same system on a "73 850. I know that system fit a wide range of motors. I'm sure someone on here will tell you for sure, but I believe that system went all the way down to a 45hp.
