Powerhead

I have a 1990 Mercury Black Max 135 H.P. with a bad powerhead. What other sizes will fit this lower. I was told that a 150 H.P. of the same year would fit. Are there other H.P. ratings that would also fit?

All V6's where fitted to the same driveshaft housing for that year.... Sandwich plates may be different, and lower unit gear ratios.
