My cousin Marissa is 34 yo and can't have children. She's been trying to adopt for about 10 years now. She got a newborn baby about a 2 months ago and goes to court Monday for the last time to make it all official and legit. I know this is not a usual prayer request but I gotta do it. Caleb was born addicted to crack and speed. He had terrible tremors and went through withdrawl for quite a while. He's doing great now and is really starting to fill out. He's bigger than another cousins baby who was born about the same time as him. Keep them in your thoughts please.

Re: Prayers for my cousin

It was succesful!!!!!!! The birth mother gave up all rights and the state awarded complete custody to Marissa. This is what life is about for her, all she has wanted forever was a child. She's been successful in her career, had money to blow anytime she wanted, lived in very nice houses and drove very nice cars but something was still missing. I reckon the huzzy will be happy to lay the party life down now. She is now complete. Many thanks to all of you.

Re: Prayers for my cousin

Mr. Brown:

I just saw your post and I am glad upon hearing the outcome. You and yours still have my prayers. My joungest cousin (one of 83) was an adopted crack baby with all sorts of physical and legal problems.

I hope not to offend others, yet God graciously intervened in her life and she is now a beautiful (judging by all of the young bucks surronding her) young woman with a keen intellect, a good sense of humor and relatives that love her.

May your cousin and Caleb continue in God's grace and be blessed throughout their lives.

I also have no biological kids, yet am blessed with one remarkable stepson.
