Premix/ oil injection

Just bought a new, to me anyway, outboard. Yammy 140 precision blend with oil injection. I have a full tank of premix, around 120 litres left over from the old motors. According the guys at the shop it's quite ok to use this up, just might be a bit smokey for a while but I'm not entirely convinced, concerned about oiling up plugs or any other dramas running too much oil may cause.
Anybody got any advice on this?
Motor not yet fitted and I'd like to clear this up before it is.
Thanks,
Jeff.

its no worries
just run some ring free or carbon guard in the tank. as long as the fuel itself is not sour or more than a few months old. in fact it will allow you the chance to carefully measure the engine oil consumption verses fuel usage at an average RPM to get an idea if the oil system is performing as designed.

Thanks Rodbolt, that's what I'll do then. Fuel is not very old, about 3 weeks and it would be a shame to waste it especially at the price of it these days. Here in Aus it's getting close to $1.20 litre.
