I am using XP. All I have to do is hit the print screen button, then paste it in MS Paint. Why would you need to hit crtl-shift?

Re: Print Screen....

might depend on your keyboard. My key and most I have seen are dual purpose.

That is what my keyboard looks like. Like I said, with the screen, front and center, that I want to copy, I just hit the print screen key and paste it in Paint. Voila!

With all the good help you have given me over the last few years, I am glad that I could reciprocate.

Re: Print Screen....

prt scrn grabs the entire screen.
ALT-PRT SCRN grabs only the currently open window which will be the full screen if you have it open full screen.
