Your orange primary wires have a blue and green tracer on them. The blue ones go to the top cylinders.

The plastic inline fuel filter before the fuel pump never fills with fuel but only about half way. I also have a Racor water separator installed. When I pump the primer bulb the whole thing doesnt get hard but only about half way. Are these bulbs supposed to always stay hard when the engine is running?

For best priming of the bulb, it's best to have the arrow end pointing skyward, so that the ball valves close properly. The bulb should pump up hard at first. After running a while, the engine will start to suck fuel through the hose, and the ball will soften up (relax). It should not collapse on itself, however.

Thanks those wires are correct to starboard side which is apparently running fine, but I have pink and purple tracers on portside. Do you know the orientation of these?

Still been trying to figure out the problem. I've been on the phone with them and can't seem to find the solution. When I hook up a timing light to the spark plug wire, I don't get a constant strobe but a frequency of flashes that is always changing. This is happening on all 4 cylinders. It seems to be running decent in a large tank of water, but still jumps around a few hundred rpm at idle.

My question at this point is how hot do these cylinders get at idle? If I idle for 5 mins and shut it off, I cannot leave my hand on the cylinder for more than 5 seconds.
