What66 Use a skilsaw with a carbide blade to cut that stuff. Set the depth to 5/8" and try a test cut. Adjust to actual thickness of the floor. Remove all the rotten wood. Cut out all rotten stringers and frames. Replace stringers with glassed in solid lumber and flooring with plywood sealed on all sides with resin, screwed (with SS Screws) into the stringers and frames, and covered with resin and cloth. I like to use very dry wolmanized lumber for both stringers and floor. I also use polyester resin and lots of cloth for these kind of repairs.
Well I ve started to gut the rotren floor from my 1960 14ft fiberglass elign but the stuff is not wood any more it's like a sponge soaked with water.and had a layer of fber glass on top.<br />So any help you can give me would be great thanks.
