I went through all the steps and $$ (about $135 all told) and got my title in the mail yesterday. SCDNR is the devil! lol! but now I know the full process to get a title for marine equipment in SC. if you dont mind the waiting game, not really that horrible. :facepalm:
I'm going to clean up the garage this afternoon and keep going with the teardown.
this will be my first complete teardown/rebuild on an outboard so I'm really excited. though I've rebuilt about 30 automotive engines so I guess its just so I can fully verse myself in 2-strokes.
I know its 50/50 whether it will work or not but I like those odds. in the end, it'll either run fine, or I'll part it out for more than I have in it.
