prop damage

i was out in my boat the other day and i was not looking where i was going and i ran over some bouyes and they went under the boat and got caught in the motor and stop the motor.i wasnt going fast at all but now my top speed is only 22mph but before this happen it was 26mph could i have bent the prop or damaged the motor it sound fine and runs the same just wont get up to speed anymore.please help thank you pat.:(ok i want to add to this if it is my prop what would be the best one for speed i have 9 1/4x10 on there now 4 blade should i go with a 3 blade rpm is 4500 to 5500 honda 15hp four stroke on a 14ft deep-v fisherman mirrocraft boat.

Yes you could have damaged the prop or got some line wrapped around the
under it.Its best to remove the prop and check.Usually if the prop is damaged you will feel a vibration.A prop shop can check it and repair for you.
get it repaired if it appears damaged as vibrations can damage seals and bearings.
