i just found my manual it says 70 to80 ft lbs am i reading it right that seems high

muskyone, <br />Thats what my manual said on my 200 hp evinrudes also. Before they were only snugged and both props spun on the hub (at different trips). After tightening them to 70-80 flbs they haven't given any more trouble.. Good luck and I followed the manual...
