Prop Removal

I am having heluva time getting an old prop of a Merc60. Any ideas a better way to do it. So far I am just using a hammer to try and pound it off...

Try tilting the engine up, so's the prop shaft iz vertical, and squirting some penetrating oil ( not WD-40) where the shaft comes through the prop and let 'er sit for a day or so then put a wooden block in front of the prop and see if you can tap it off.<br /><br />c/6<br />Hooty
