I have an aluminum prop that I hit on a log and bent one of the blades very slightly. i mean no onewould notice it unless it was pointed out.

Performance hasn't changed at all either. But I noticed the other day while cleaning the motor and prop that when I turn the prop at one small area during the full turn there is some slight rubbing.

Is this cause for concern? Is it likly that the prop is warped more than I can see with eye causing this?

Thanks,
Scott

I would pull the prop and check if the shaft was bent in the inpact

You would need a dial indicator or have to borrow one to check it

If you keep running with rubbing it will cause much worse dammage

tommays

Also, check your lower unit lube to make sure it doesn't have water in it.......Might have messed up the seal...
