This is a follow up to this post.
I fixed the issue with a removal of the outdrive and have reinstalled it. It shifts fine and the propeller shaft spins. But with the propeller installed there is no movement. Would this be a spun hub?

If you have the rubber hub ,its doubtful you can spin the prop. If you have the Flo-Torq hub that is plastic you would see if it was broken apart with the prop removed?

I took it apart. I have the flo-torq hub and it looks fine; no cracks or visible wear. I am truly perplexed.

Reading your first thread I would think about disassembly of the lower. There is something wrong it the shift area.
Update. Seems that the clutch engages when the lower unit is laid down.

I've considered it but at this point I'm just looking for a new/used outdrive. I'll refurbish the old one over the winter and sell her. If anyone wants a 1.81 ratio alpha one gen II let me know in about three months.
