If being an In board engine running at max wot rpm range with adequate deck weight distribution, trim should dial same example issues as of posted OB issues. Will test that setting with our local marina same type boats to check which setting planes combo more efficiently and faster out of the hole. A boat is a powered cork...

Happy Boating

Ideal trim for optimum top speed cruising in an I/O will not be the same setting to use when taking off from dead stop when towing skiers. Inverse applies also.

Ahzzy, try the trim thing, it is free, and hope you can get out on the 4th and have some fun and report back!

I did get out yesterday. Got the boat to plane just fine tried the trim got about 200-300 more RPMs and was running 4000-4100. I'm also wondering if it doesn't need a 17 pitch instead of 19? Or is that going in the wrong direction? I also haven't been able to do a compression test yet.

Hope everyone had a great 4th!
