Hi there- I am looking for some prop suggestions on my 1995 115 Evinrude. The hull is a 1992 17.5' Sea Nymph Deep Vee fishing boat. I am unsure of my current prop- I believe it is a 17" pitch 3 blade SS. Right now @ 3000', I am getting 37-38 mph w/3 people, a full tank of fuel, kicker, full kicker tank, half full livewells. RPM is about 5300. If I go down to 1600', I can run the same speed with 5 people and the same load (which makes sense). RPM close to the same. Here is what I am looking for- I want to get a spare aluminum prop. Hopefully keep the same performance or increase it. I have read to prop to 5800 RPM but that makes me a bit nervous. What are your ideas??
