Prop suggestions?

1979 Cee Bee Avenger 16' with a rapid jack plate. 6" setback and 41/2 lift. The motor is a 1985 Johnson 70hp with a 4 blade stainless 15 pitch prop.

This motor came off a 18' deep V hull.

Will the current prop work or should I start looking for a different one? I never have and never will ski so I'm looking for a good hole shot and stability.

Run it with this prop and tell us the max rpm and speed and your impressioin of the hole shot.
If you read the stickies at the top of the page and the helps on the prop store page it will help you understand prop selection better.It is likely you will need to increase pitch but we need the details to tell how much if any.
