I'm glad you caught it too! Although it wouldn't hurt anything to have a hole on the high pressure side but it wouldnt do anything for your holeshot. As a matter of fact we do that sometimes but for a totally different reason. Very rare but sometimes. <br /><br />Djohns - thanks for the kind words!

Now I'm confused .<br /><br />If I look at MG's picture prop venting, the boat is traveling from left to right, correct?<br /><br />Is that the leading edge of the blade, and the low pressure side?<br /><br />(I'm almost done with the other suggestions from this board and intend to give this a shot, too.)<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />jim@KSC

Yes, the prop is moving from left to right and the leading edge of the prop is the low pressure side.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

Jim yeah, it sure confused me, I had printed the drawing which then lost the 3d perspective. From the printed drawing it looked as if the boat was traveling right to left. On the web page you can however see the correct perspective and location of the holes.<br /><br />I've now drilled mine and can't wait to get the boat on the water to test it out!
