Propellor not running true

I have a 30hp 2003 Mercury motor. Just bought it. Little used. I noticed the propellor does not run true. A part of th propellor rubs off the housing. The prop shaft is not bent. Any ideas why this is happening.

check for the correct thrust washer

go to mercurypartsexpress.com follow the prompts, to the engine diagrams. someone may have asselmbled it incorrectly.

Mine did that, the rubber hub was shot.
