proper thermostat please?

I am replacing the thermostat on my 96 volvo 3.0 freshwater cooling system What is the correct temperature thermostat to use? I could not read the numbers on the t/stat.
My engine seems to be running a little cool this year.

Thank you very much. I need to make a gasket if I am to finish the job today. What material should I get at the auto parts store?

We have not had many boating opportunities this year...toooo much water. Limited boat ramps. Last year not enough...this year too much. Oh well.
