don't feel bad, havn't we all fell of the ramp before? i have. i stopped before i ruined my trailer though, knew i was snaged on something. (leafspring shackles caught on edge of concrete ramp). got myself out by me and my son lifting on the trailer as the gf pull us out.... now i always walk the ramp to where my trailer tires will rest at... being sure i don't fall off the edge..... wasn't a fun retrieval when i fell off...... the tow vehical was a 2 wd 1ton chevy van with a vortec 350.......

no, but I have fell *on* the ramp, more than once. different ramps though. The best was the time my partner was pulling me out, I'm sitting on the bow facing aft after attaching the winch.

He stopped before I was ready, resulting in a near perfect back flip on to the ramp, landed on my feet. Almost. Drew some applause, took a bow, wiped blood off the elbow, etc., etc.

That's too much.

We all have backed a trailer of the end of a ramp at one time or another usually we don't have lockers an a transfer in low.

Got pics of truck?

Been there, done that.
My trailer fell off the end of the ramp once.
Tried to yank it out and here's the resulting carnage.
Eventually I may feel courageous enough to post the full account of that day full of 'stupid human tricks'.

hey i almost wish my hitch receiver would have done that... but no me building my truck in overkill mode had to put a class v magnum hitch on. anyway guys i had to come back on here and tell ya i did it again... wel lalmost anyway.. this time i went off the side of the ramp... and NO i didnt learn my lesson from the first time... trailer tires got hung up "pinched" at the top of the ramp, hit the air locks to lock up the front tires and dropped the transfer into 4 low and put the shifter into granny mode "its funny.. why do they call it a granny? nothing weak about it" and reved it up and popped the clutch... But it was a dif story this time... the trailer simply popped up and all was good!!! ok i lied the boat scraped the dock so there was a little touch up needed, ok i lied again bout 9 hours of sanding, painting, sanding again, and waxing. oh and re adjusting the leaf spring... it got just a little tweaked. One of these days i will learn... either how to pull straight out, stop using skinny ramps as a means to avoid congestion, or to quit being lazy and unload the boat first and try again. one of these ill do something real bad "refer to first post" and be done for good. lol. dam men and there big trucks and even bigger trucks. and yes i do have pics of truck lets see if i can figure to post pics, just learned couple days ago when asking about an alpha question for a dif boat. it no longer primer grey tho these are old pics but the only ones i have on the comp
