Proper WEIGHT oil for DF 115 Zuki, 2005

I have a customer that has left the world of Evinrude and bought a new boat with a DF 115 Suzuki. He says the dealer told him to run 10W30 in it, but didn't bother telling him what brand they would recommend, or what they had already put in the engine. I don't want a brand comparison to start here, I'm more interested in the proper weight of oil to be used in this engine.<br />No, I don't have the manual, the owner does and has left it at his cabin at the lake.

My manual says 10-40 API SJ. I use Chevron Supreme 10-40 SL.
