Re: Props, then props...then more props......
Kenny,
Everyone looses their dad. Some are real close some not. Apparently you had a tight rapport. You still have your memories and as time goes by only the good ones will remain. You'll always have that......even as simple as when you look in the mirror in the morning you notice the resemblance.....the way you hold your hands, the way you walk, all bring back reflections of dad. My dad died in '81 and not a day doesn't go by that I see or do something that reminds me of him. We weren't close but that's just the way it was; for the most part had two different interests; but he was dad and we did have good times together (fishing and hunting were definitely the ones I'll never forget). Hang in there buddy.

Now, let's get back to business 8)
Your comment about Stiletto's and Turbo's. Son got a Turbo II on his 150 Merc. I noticed that the vent holes are very large and
square. On the Procraft 180C I can't really tell when they close off (hull is bass boat pad with hull setback ). It punches out and gets right up on plane, but no overdrive shift.
I had a '89 115 tower (on a Ranger Fisherman...had a pad but no BB setback) and I am trying to remember what prop I had on it. I got it from my Merc dealer, had smaller
round holes, cupped, conventional HP shape (nothing radical). I could hammer it in the hole and very definitely got the engine revs. Shot out of the hole and somewhere around 35mph (firewalled throttle the whole time) it would shift into overdrive (really cool to feel-hear it do that d

).
You mentioned once before that they tamed the Laser II from the Laser I. Care to yak a little about this.
Thanks and glad you're back....props was empty without you and the guys were trying to fill in best they could.
