So I'm continuing the quest for a PTT and I have been looking at this unit.....

My question or concern is that the mounting bracket is full height, or is as long as the cylinders. On the units I have seen pics of the mounting bracket goes about 1/2 way up the cylinders. Like this....

Will the unit, top pics, fit my 1974 135 Hp evinrude?:confused:

I know the motor is a Calco and we don't need to discuss that at this time.

Thanks ditchen. But I still wonder why the support brackets look so different than this...
