I have a Friend that has a center console fiberglass boat. It's about 22ft long 115 Yamaha on it. When he takes off runs strait plains fast. Runs great at wot still strait. When the throttle is dropped it pulls to the left. We are totally baffled why it would do this.

Does it have a fin anode on the drive? It may need adjusting if so.

Hull could be slightly out of shape.

Re: Pulling to left

I just answered this on another thread. On some hulls depending on speed and trim position, you can have a steady helm or one that pulls. If you have a sensitive situation, set the trim tab, rear in the direction of the helm turning, amount is to push the rear to that side till it quits pulling where you run most of the time; aka speed and trim angle. At other positions then you could have pulling.

The incorporation of a "zero feed back" helm can help to reduce the problem. Teleflex-Morse makes them. May sell them on this site.
