pulling to the left.

I have an 86 citation with a 454 mercruiser. not the original motor.but it was in the boat when i bought it. The boat pulls hard to the left when you take your hand off the steering wheel. by the way it is power steering. Any body know what i can do?

You may need to adjust the trim tab on the outdrive.<br /><br />

dol-phin or whale tale could be warped, be sure ladder isn't down too.

Strange for pull to come back up to the wheel with power steering. Does the wheel actually turn with the pull when you take your hands off? That is, is the outdrive turning to precipitate the pull, or does the boat simply drift hard into a turn? If the outdrive is actually turning because of a mis-adjusted trim tab, then your PS needs attention.
