Purchasing New Outboards online-

Just a general question, I am thinking of purchasing my new johnsons on line from eds marine superstore in Virgina, their prices are listed and appear reasonable. has anyone had bad/good experiences purchasing on line and having motors shipped? Has anyone purchased from eds?? ive seen their link posted in previous <br />reports. <br /><br />p.s happy holidays to all, I have been a member since 10/02 and love all the information that is shared. I have never bought one from a store, but have purchased 2 off of Ebay. Have had good experiences both times. Although shipping can be very expensive. I would use an escrow service if I were you, it allows a third party to hold your funds for a certain amount of days for an "inspection" period of the engine, so that way if you dont like it or want it, you dont get screwed out of your money.
