Putting a tiller handle on a 93 48spl

93 mod J48eslete: I'm wanting to put a tiller handle on this motor. Have it all worked out except for the steering friction, dampening, or what ever the device that holds the motor straight if you turn loose of the tiller for a sec.

I don't think this motor was ever offered w/ tiller, but other 40-50 hp should have been.

What parts would it take from what motor.
