Whats the easiest way to put the harmonic balancer back on. I have a 3.7L MCM 170. I know there is a too you can buy but my budget is getting close to up so If there is a way to get it back on "good enough" then please let me know.

Use the bolt and a large washer to wrench it on.
I put bolts in the back of the crank and use a large prybar to stop the crank from turning.
Once it gets started it goes on real easy.
Word of caution:
If it is really hard getting it to go you may want to put a little grease on the crank snout or you risk pulling the threads out.

If you do not have access to the back of the crank then you will have to get imaginative.
Where is the motor now? Stand? in the boat?
You have access to the flywheel bolts?
