My tabs are about six years old and the rubber casing are starting to crack and leak can these be replaced?

If so approx how much to replace? Will there be any damage to the eternal parts? They're only used in fresh water. Thanks.

Re: Question for NautiJohn

Sanssouci;

The boots are replaceable and the cost is $7.50 each. I would however, make sure that the actuator itself is in good shape. With your hands, pull up and down on the actuators to determine if they have the appropriate resistance. If the boots have any holes I would recommend the replacement of the actuator assembly (boots & actuators). Refer to www.nauticusinc.com for replacement parts costs. Also measure the entire length of the actuator, which may be 10" or 12". We stock both!

Thanks John I'll check them out. One other question...how come the actuator mounts are facing the same direction and not mirror image of each other? I find it very odd. sans

Then there would be a left and right side which would make for more potential packing errors without good reason. Also more inventory issues.
It is purely cosmetic and the trim plate brackets are under water when the boat is launched.
