Hello All,
I just purchased a Sea ray 28 ft with two i/o engines. The question is should the out drives be up or down when trailering.
Thanks in advance,

Some like them up and others say down , as long as you arnt dragging the skag and it has road clearance I would think its fine.

You should always store in the down position, trailering depends on the setup, some trailers set high enough that the skegs will not drag and others you must raise the drive for clearance, hence trailer position for the drive, all the way up. I would say best to raise them to trailer position to go down the road. Better safe than sorry.

Up when your moving it, down for storage.

A 28' twin-engined Sea Ray is likely to be sitting squat low on any trailer, and not perched up high like a 28' sleek racer, so depress the trim AND the trailer button and raise the outdrives all the way up.

Its kind of a catch 22.
If your legs/drives are in the up right/trailer position, everytime you hit a bump it applies preasure to the trim cylinders, and if you have a weak hose, holding valve or pump ETC, "you could" blow it.
Thats why they make a grabber that attaches above the drives to the pin that holds the end of the cylinders so you can put the weight on them and not the cylinders/circuit.

Now for that which has been said in the down position you, you risk catching/scraping the drives and doing damage.

Our sundancer has 2.5 feet of road clearance with the drives down, motors are not centered on the keel.

That's nice.

Until the OP posts a pic, we should consider it likely that he needs to raise them.
