1987 20 hp suzuki. the water that comes out of the pee hole {i guess thats what u call it} is verry hot at idle and warm at wot is this normal also the 2 exhaust holes on the back of the lower unit right under the power head only 1 seems to be working what can cause this and how do i fix. the old girl runs fine starts with the 2nd pull most times never more then 4 she smokes alot especialy if i have been runing her 4 a while is this normal for a 2 stroke i know thay smoke but this seems like alot to me but i dunno. she also seems to have more power when i begin running her after about 20 min she seems to loose some not much but noticable to me via speedo drops about 3 mph what can cause this.

Sounds like it's running fairly well, but how long since you had a new water pump impeller, thermostat installed? Do you run any de-carbon product like Ringfree or other, maybe good to get some and de-carbon your motor. Also maybe try the Pennzoil 100% Synthetic Outboard Motor oil for less smoking and carbon. impeller was changed last year i put some sea foam in this year. yep seems to be runing ok i just want to keep it that way thats why all the questions illl try the penzoil nexed time what really bothers me is the exhauset port not working and the verry hot water at idle i dont know if this is normal or not

While you're at Walmart picking up some Pennzoil 100% Synthetic Outboard Oil($27/gallon), buy a bottle of the Stabil Marine Fuel Stabilizer($20/quart) and a fuel/water seperator($27), intall on your transom real easy with 2 screws, money well spent to prevent most all problems with water,fuel,ethanol,debris in gas. Good Luck!
